- Ask About Alternatives: If an AI gives you one answer, ask it for three more. This often reveals that the computer is just picking the most common answer rather than the right one for your situation.
The Human Element of Auto Repair
There is an old saying in our shop that a computer can tell you what happened, but a mechanic can tell you why it happened. An AI might correctly identify that your brakes are wearing unevenly, but it won't notice that you have a habit of riding the brake pedal or that your local roads are recently salted, causing extra corrosion.
Our technicians use their ears, eyes, and even their sense of touch to understand the health of your car. We look for the story the car is telling us through the wear patterns on your tires and the color of your oil. This level of nuanced understanding is something a chat window simply cannot replicate.
